Also note that one of the plastic tabs that holds the 12 V connector in place on the back of the radio is gone. Since I have never found a reason to even turn down the RF gain On a 2 M SSB radio it's pretty much a non issue to me) I dont have any contact cleaner around right now or I would have sprayed it. more gain control is dirty, and the setting jumps somewhat when the RF gain is turned to zero.
Theres a'cheat sheet' on the inside lid for selecting the frequency. You can access it from the top cover, and change the dip switch settings to whatever frequency you need for your repeater quite easily. The radio has a tone board installed, it's not an icom but another brand. I measured the output power on FM and I am getting over 12 watts out. I never made a contact on CW, but I did test it for power output on CW, so I have no reason to think thats not fine, too. I used this rig on both FM and SSB and made several contacts.
I would say better than average for this model. And the carrying handle is worn, but overall very presentable shape for sure.
